Colombia Qualify for World Cup For First Time In 16 Years [VIDEO]

Colombia joined Belgium, Switzerland and Germany today in qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

While Belgium, Switzerland and Germany coasted to 2-0, 2-1 and 3-0 victories respectively, the match between Colombia and Chile was a much more entertaining and see-saw of a game, where Chile went ahead 3-0 but Colombia came back to draw the match 3-3.

Congratulations to Colombia for qualifying for the World Cup finals for the first time in 16 years. Here are the video highlights of the 3-3 match against Chile from today:

Chile, meanwhile, go into their final match on Tuesday against Ecuador — with both sides knowing that a draw will send both teams to the 2014 World Cup. Since Ecuador beat Uruguay today 1-0, and if Chile and Ecuador tie on Tuesday, Uruguay have the opportunity to finish fifth in their CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying group, which means they would have to win a playoff game against Jordan in order to reach World Cup 2014.
