CNBC to televise many Premier League games

cnbc-logo

NBC Sports has announced several of the games that’ll be televised during the first weeks of the 2016/17 season, and many of them will be on CNBC instead of NBCSN.

The dependence on CNBC is due to NBC’s coverage of the Summer Olympics, where their wall-to-wall coverage will take up most of the programming on NBC and NBCSN.

In the United States, CNBC is in more homes than NBCSN (approximately 89 million for CNBC compared to 83 million for NBCSN).

For those readers who don’t get CNBC or are cord cutters, this upcoming season will be the first one for NBC Sports where soccer fans can watch the games on Sling Blue or Vue without needing a cable or satellite TV subscription.

While the schedule below isn’t complete, most of the Saturday 10am ET games will be announced by NBC Sports closer to when the season is scheduled to begin.
