Earlier today, AC Milan sacked manager Massimiliano Allegri after the club fell 30 points behind Serie A league leaders Juventus. Allegri had already recently announced that he was planning on leaving the club at the end of the season, but AC Milan cut his stay short. And now the Italian side are considering naming former player Clarence Seedorf who may take charge of the club as early as Thursday.

Respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says that Seedorf will leave Botafogo in Brazil to join Milan as head coach.

Seedorf is an accomplished footballer who won the UEFA Champions League with AC Milan, Real Madrid and Ajax. The Dutch footballer, however, has no management experience, but he’s extremely well respected in the game and would no doubt carry a lot of authority at Milan.
