Chelsea representatives have had talks with Manuel Pellegrini’s adviser about becoming the next manager of Chelsea Football Club, according to an exclusive in The Telegraph newspaper.
Pellegrini is currently the manager of Malaga, who got knocked out of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final in the last minute against Borussia Dortmund. The Spanish side are banned from playing in the Champions League so a move away from Malaga is to be expected.
According to The Telegraph, “Pellegrini, a Chilean, has no experience of coaching outside of a Spanish-speaking country but he does speak English and the Chelsea hierarchy greatly admire him.”
