
The Catalunia select side are confirmed to play a friendly match against Colombia on December 28th according to Sport. The match was confirmed by the Catalunian Football Federation as negotiations have developed quickly. The stadium is yet to be determined. This is in an effort to have an opponent for their tranditional matchup prior to the end of the new year.
Coach Pere Gratacos has stated that Colombia ¨is a very competitive team that has a great chance to make the World Cup in 2010.¨ This is the first time that the Catalans would be playing together since they played Euskadi late last year.
