A photograph of Barcelona’s revolutionary home shirt for the 2015/16 season has been leaked on the Internet.
At no time during the 115-year history of the club have Barcelona worn hoops. The club’s shirt with its classic vertical scarlet and blue stripes is one of the most iconic jerseys in all of sports. However, the Blaugrana will be wearing a revolutionary design featuring no stripes.
The featured design has already been met with a lot of disapproval from Barcelona supporters around the world.
But Nike, who are known to push the envelope with their shirt designs (look at recent USA away shirts as one example of many), aren’t a fan of tradition and like to shake things up.
