Champions League final to be decided by penalties

Milan (AFP) – The 2016 Champions League final will be decided by penalties at the San Siro stadium in Milan after Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid ended 1-1 following extra-time.

A late equaliser by Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco pushed the Champions League final into extra time on Saturday after Sergio Ramos opened the scoring for ten-time champions Real Madrid on 15 minutes.

Two years ago Real beat Atletico 4-1 in extra-time following a 1-1 draw over the 90 minutes.
