DJ bites back as PSG use his tune instead of Phil Collins

Paris (AFP) – Paris Saint-Germain have replaced Phil Collins as the music when the players take the field with a theme by French producer DJ Snake, and DJ Snake is not happy.

“I supplied the sound to go with the presentation of Lionel Messi” at the Parc des Princes, wrote the Paris-born producer, who has worked with Lady Gaga and been nominated for Grammys.

“I have found out that it is now being used for the entry of the players when it doesn’t fit,” he wrote.

Before beating Clermont on Saturday, “Who Said I Would” by Phil Collins, a song that has been played at PSG’s stadium since the early 90s, was replaced by DJ Snake on the sound system as the players came out.

It was a change that made some supporters cringe, especially on social networks. That included PSG fan DJ Snake.

He said that he did not want to harm the club by “speaking out on this issue, but I can not accept this situation as a fan.”
