Celtic start Champions League campaign against Sarajevo

London (AFP) – Celtic’s quest to reach the Champions League group stages will start against Bosnian champions FK Sarajevo.

Neil Lennon’s men will host the first leg on July 9 or 10th with the return a week later on July 16 or 17.

Celtic will need to navigate four qualifying rounds to make it to the lucrative group stages of Europe’s premier club competition.

The Hoops fell short last season with a disappointing defeat to AEK Athens in the third qualifying round.
