EPL Commentator Schedule

EPL Commentators on NBC Sports: Oct. 24, 2019

Premier League Champion Alan Shearer will lead an all-star line-up for NBC Sports’ Premier League Mornings Live event in Austin, Texas on October 26-27, 2019. The Premier League’s all-time leading goal scorer will be at the two-day fan festival at Scholz Garten, the oldest beer garden in America, which features live action from nine Premier League games across five match windows, including two matches on NBC.

Shearer, a three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, will be joined across the two days by former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole, who won eight major trophies with the club; former Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips; and former Everton and U.S. men’s soccer goalkeeper Tim Howard. Following his attendance at the Premier League Mornings Live event in Boston earlier this year, WWE’s Sheamus will make his return, supporting Liverpool FC when they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, October 27.

The special guests will be on site at different points across the weekend and will be featured on the live broadcast with the NBC Sports’ Premier League Mornings studio team of host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe. NBC Sports’ coverage of this weekend’s Premier League Mornings Live Fan Festival, presented by Barclays, kicks off Saturday, October 26 at 7 a.m. ET (6 a.m. CT) on NBCSN.

Fans will also get the chance to see the former Premier League stars as they take part in some of the fun festival activities that will be on site, including Nike’s fast feet skills area and Dancakes personalized pancake art. There will also be plenty of photo opportunities across the weekend for fans with the Premier League Trophy and club mascots from Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Premier League all-time leading goal-scorer Alan Shearer said: “I am excited to be returning to the US to be part of the first Premier League Mornings Live event of the season. This is my first visit to Austin and I am looking forward to meeting the fans out there to watch this weekend’s Premier League matches together.

“I met some fantastic supporters at last season’s events in DC and New York, their enthusiasm and commitment to early morning kick-off times was very impressive and the atmosphere at the events was fantastic. Premier League Mornings Live is a brilliant opportunity for fans to come together and enjoy the football, see the Premier League trophy and enjoy lots of other free activities.”

The Austin fan festival is the first Premier League Mornings Live supporter event that NBC Sports and the Premier League will present this football season, with two more coming later in the 2019-20 campaign. This follows three successful festivals (Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C.) during the 2018-19 Premier League season.

The Premier League has an ongoing commitment to bringing unique experiences to its fans and working with NBC Sports on Premier League Mornings Live continues that direct outreach to passionate supporters in different cities across the United States.

The event is free to attend, and fans must register in advance. General admission tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as spaces are limited.

Visit NBC Sports for more information.

Fans who are not at the event can still join in the celebrations by sharing photos of their #MyPLMorning experiences.
