Winners Announced for Tickets to Chelsea-Manchester City Game at Yankee Stadium

Earlier this week, we ran a contest to give away two pairs of free tickets to next weekend’s friendly between Chelsea and Manchester City at Yankee Stadium in New York City.

We received a ton of entries, and last night we went ahead and selected two of the contestants at random who correctly answered the two questions.

The questions were:

Question 1: Which two teams will be competing in another high-profile exhibition soccer match at Yankee Stadium this summer other than City vs Chelsea? (Hint, go to www.yankees.com/soccer).

Question 2: In the two matches between Chelsea and Manchester City in the 2012-13 Premier League season, which team was undefeated?

The answer to question number 1 is Spain vs Ireland, while the answer to the second is Manchester City (who drew 0-0 with Chelsea, but beat the Blues 2-0 in the other match).

Drum roll please, the two winners are:

Bill Gordon from Massapequa, who wins two tickets to the field level

AND

Anthony Owusu-Asirifi, who wins two tickets to the main level.

Congratulations to you both!

If you didn’t win, tickets are still available for this high-profile match. Ticket details can be found at www.yankees.com/soccer. Ticket prices start at $60
