Wayne Rooney will not play in today’s match against West Bromwich Albion, the final game of Sir Alex Ferguson’s managerial career.

While Rooney was benched for last week’s game against Swansea, today he has been excused from traveling with United because his wife is in labor. Colleen is due to give birth to their second child.
