Everton midfielder Ross Barkley scored an incredible goal against Newcastle United today with an incredible 69-yard run and dribble past several players to put the Toffees in the lead at St James’ Park.
Barkley channeled the spirit of Paul Gascoigne with the run. If there was ever a doubt whether this is a future England star, today was the ultimate proof that Barkley is yet another incredible product from Merseyside (joining the ranks of Gerrard, Rooney, McManaman and many more).
