Southampton will debut the club’s third shirt in its weekend match against Newcastle United.
The yellow shirt from Southampton will be worn for the first time this season when the Saints play Newcastle United at St James’ Park (kickoff time is 12:30pm ET on Saturday; live on NBC & NBC Sports Live Extra in the United States).
As many of you may know, Southampton designed and manufactured their home, away and third shirts themselves this season instead of relying on adidas, Nike or a soccer template design from another manufacturer.
The third shirt for Southampton features a two-tone yellow design with darker yellow stripes and a navy blue trim. Unfortunately, the shirt is not being made available for purchase, so this may end up being quite a collector’s item.
