Southampton Manager Mauricio Pochettino Says He'll Stay At Club: Daily Soccer Report

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino says that he’s 100% committed to Southampton Football Club, and doesn’t plan on leaving despite Chairman Nicola Cortese resigning from the club yesterday.

Pochettino announced his re-commitment to Southampton in today’s press conference ahead of his side’s match on Saturday against Sunderland.

It’s understood that Pochettino met with Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr prior to today’s press conference. But whatever concerns the manager had seem to have been ironed out.

Pochettino said:

“I have a professional responsibility to everyone at the club and the fans.”
