Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has picked Luis Suarez as his Player of the Year.
The winners of this year’s PFA Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year will be announced Sunday night, but Mancini believes Suarez should win it.
“I don’t know Suarez as a man, I know him as a player and this year he was one of the best in the Premier League,” said Mancini.
In answer to the criticism regarding Suarez, Mancini eloquently replied:
“He made a mistake, he said sorry to everyone. Do you want to kill him?”
“He has got his punishment. It’s finished.”
What do you think? Does Suarez deserve to be Player of the Year? If not, who do you think should win the honors that will be announced tomorrow night? Share your opinion in the comments section below.
