Real Madrid has surpassed Manchester United as the world’s most valuable sports team. Los Blancos, who are worth $3.3 billion according to Forbes, have the highest revenues of any team in sports ($650 million during the 2011-12 season), while Madrid’s operating income of $134 million is second only to NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
Number two on the list are Manchester United, followed by Barcelona and then the New York Yankees.
