Premier League Saturday, Gameweek 25: Open Thread (Including Man Utd vs Liverpool)

The biggest rivalry in the Premier League is, still, Manchester United against Liverpool. It’s not your Manchester derby. Neither is it Chelsea against Manchester United. The Red Devils against the Reds remains at the top, featuring the two most successful teams in English football. Now that Manchester United has the bragging rights to the domestic titles, it’s a chance for Liverpool to show United that they’re still a force to be reckoned with. Conversely, it’s a chance for United to show how far ahead they are, not only in talent, but in their quest to win another title.

Needless to say, there’s a lot on the line today. And I haven’t even mentioned Suarez or Evra yet!

Manchester United team: De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Rooney, Welbeck

Liverpool team: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Henderson, Spearing, Gerrard, Kuyt, Suarez, Downing

Not surprisingly, Suarez starts for Liverpool, while Welbeck starts for United. May the best team win.

Don’t forget there are plenty of other matches today including Spurs against Newcastle, Swansea against Norwich, Sunderland against Arsenal, Everton versus Chelsea, Blackburn v QPR, Bolton battle Wigan and Fulham play Stoke.
