Popular Soccer App Changes Name and Adds New Functionality

Soccer apps are an important part of a fan’s way of following the Beautiful Game. Hot on the heels of the launch of World Soccer Talk’s own iPhone and Android app, a German company has made significant changes to its own app, adding new functionality and featuring a new name.

Onefootball, formerly known as The Football App, is a soccer app that features news, scores, fixtures and more. The more part includes Team Stream, which allows soccer fans to stay up to date on all the news and events surrounding their favorite team.

The Onefootball app features results from more than 100 international leagues. Plus there’s videos, news and latest transfer rumors.

Onefootball has partnered with talkSPORT to include live and on-demand commentary of all Premier League matches and talkSPORT shows. The broadcasts are available in several languages across continental Europe and South America.

Onefootball is available to download for free across iOS devices, Android, Windows Phone, Windows 8, Asha devices (through the Nokia store) and Samsung SmartTV.
