Old Firm Derby and West Brom vs Newcastle United: Open Thread

It’s not often that we talk about Scottish Premier League football, but we’re faced with three realities. One, the Old Firm Derby is on today (8am ET). Two, FOX Soccer is televising the game live. And three, there is only one Premier League match on today, so there isn’t a lot to talk about.

West Bromwich Albion against Newcastle United (11am ET) should be a very enjoyable match to watch after a relatively uneventful Saturday in the Premier League. Both Roy Hodgson and Alan Pardew have done a brilliant job at their respective club this season, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few goals in store from this match.
