Liverpool’s new away shirt for the 2008/2009 season will definitely be gray. In March, EPL Talk shared a leaked picture of the new Liverpool away shirt, but now – thanks to our friends at Football Shirts – we have distinctive proof. Here’s the most recent leaked picture of what will be Liverpool’s 08/09 away shirt:
As you can see, the shirt is designed by Adidas and features a red trim (not orange as shown in the previously leaked picture). What’s bizarre however is that Liverpool has decided to go with gray for the shirt. Gray is hardly inspiring and we all know what happened when Liverpool’s arch enemies Manchester United wore gray against Southampton many years ago.
