Manchester (United Kingdom) (AFP) – French midfielder Paul Pogba completed his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United on Tuesday, the Premier League side announced without giving a fee that media reports said was a world record.
Pogba arrived at United’s training complex to undergo a medical on Monday. He left Manchester for the Serie A champions on a free transfer in 2012. United said he signed a five-year contract.
British media say United agreed to pay Juventus a world-record fee of 89 million pounds ($116.4 million, 105 million euros) for Pogba, not including agents’ fees.
