Just days after Liverpool officially unveiled their home shirt for the 2015-16 season, a photo of Liverpool’s away jersey for the new season has been leaked on the Internet.
New Balance’s away shirt for Liverpool features a modern version of one of the classic away shirts from the Reds with a white shirt and red trim — just like the one from 1968 to 1977 where Liverpool won so much domestic and European silverware.
The clean lines on the shirt and the simple red color make for a simple but effective, and dare we say it, fashionable jersey from New Balance. It’s hard not to like this one especially with the shirt sponsor, manufacturer and LFC crest all in the same red color.
The white jersey will be accompanied by white shorts.
If Liverpool’s third shirt is as promising as it appears in a leaked design, this could be the best year for Liverpool in many years in kit design.
