Hull City vs West Ham United, TV Times and Open Thread

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has a perfect opportunity today to put himself more into the “shop window” for his chances of becoming the next manager at Newcastle United. Of course, this is all conjecture, but if Hull City beats West Ham United today and then defeats Newcastle this weekend, Bruce could end up being the favorite to replace Alan Pardew if the manager is sacked.

There are a lot of if-then and buts, but the timing of today’s fixture and the one this weekend could give Bruce a big step up in the league ladder of managerial jobs. Or, he could end up being knocked down to earth if West Ham wins today and Newcastle beat the Tigers on Saturday.

For viewers in the United States, the game will be shown on:

Hull vs West Ham, 3pm, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra
