Just one day after I write about the top 5 essential iPhone apps for soccer fans, The Times reveals that the makers of Championship Manager are bringing the game to the iPhone. How long will it before Football Manager, FIFA 2010 and Pro Evolution Soccer are also available on the iPhone?
  • Melchester Rovers Kit Designs, 1956-1973 (True Colours Football Kits). The one and only John Devlin has done it again. This time, he’s painstakingly re-created the shirt designs for one of the favorite clubs in the world, Melchester Rovers, the club of Roy Race better known as Roy Of The Rovers. Devlin discusses the shirt designs and remarks how unique the color scheme is, which it definitely is (pictured above).
  • Tottenham Hotspur In Talks With Gulf Investors (Arabian Business). Tottenham officials are in the Gulf talking to a dozen companies about stadium naming rights and shirt sponsorship opportunities.
