Ex-England Captain Mick Mills Denies Turning Blind Eye to Stoke 'Abuse': Daily Soccer Report

Former Stoke City trainee George Blackstock has filed a civil case against Stoke City, seeking damages after he claims that he suffered post traumatic stress due to initiations that were carried out by the club under the management of Stoke City manager, and former England captain, Mick Mills.

Mills is accused of turning a blind eye to what allegedly happened at the club — which included sexual attacks, pranks and other initiation ceremonies.

Mills, who captained England in the 1982 World Cup, denies the accusations.

The civil hearing will determine whether the case can proceed since the incidents allegedly happened between 1985-89.
