European giants set for Champions League clash

Last night saw mixed fortunes for Spanish sides as Sevilla made it three wins from three in the Champions League this season but Barcelona lost 2-1 at home to Rubin Kazan and was probably the most unexpected result of the night, in a night that produced more than one surprise scoreline.

Tonight though is the meeting of the two European giants AC Milan and Real Madrid which looks like being the tastiest double header in the Champions League this season. Milan go into the game as underdogs, not just because of the quality of players signed in the summer and pulling on a Real Madrid shirt tonight including Milan legend Kaka, but also because Milan appear to be short of form at the moment.

Real Madrid will not quite be the same force with Cristiano Ronaldo missing but it is highly expected that Real will walk away with all three points tonight. This match on paper certainly has the makings of a classic, however I just worry whether Milan will be able to compete with the high flying Galacticos. Only time will tell if Milan can roll back the years and shows us what they are made of.
