EPL Talk On The Road Today

In the final match of the EPL Talk tour of South Florida pubs and restaurants, I’ll be making the trek to the Queen Mary British Pub in Jupiter to capture the excitement of the Italy against France final.

I spent a lot of yesterday trying to find a perfect Italian cafe or restaurant that would be showing today’s match, but I came up empty-handed. Most Italian restaurants are closed on Sundays between lunch and dinner (the match is on TV at 2pm ET here in Florida).

Nevertheless, my friends and I are looking forward to the trip to the Queen Mary. I’ll post photographs here tonight (and hopefully a short video up on YouTube). Interestingly, after each World Cup match, all of the pubgoers go outside and compete in a penalty shootout competition. If the Florida weather cooperates, we’ll see if I bring home the gold!
