Demba Ba a Target For Arsenal After Chelsea Say He Can Leave Stamford Bridge: Nightly Soccer Report

Chelsea striker Demba Ba has been told that he can leave Stamford Bridge tomorrow, but whether he’ll move to Arsenal or another club is the question that needs to be answered.

The Telegraph newspaper reports that Arsenal may be Demba Ba’s destination despite the fact that the article contains no source or tidbit of information leading the reader to think that Arsenal is his destination. All the article says that Arsenal are interesting in making a deadline day move. To be honest, I’m sure practically any club in the Premier League would be interested in signing the clinical striker.

If Arsenal is interested, the Gunners would be a brilliant fit for Ba. He’d have more opportunities to play in the side at the Emirates Stadium compared to other clubs. Plus, he would give Arsenal and Arsene Wenger plenty of options to consider throughout the course of the season.

What’s your opinion about Demba Ba possibly going to Arsenal? Should Wenger sign him? And if so, who do you rate as the better striker — Olivier Giroud or Ba? Have your say in the comments section below.
