Cristiano Ronaldo has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury and is expected to be out for the next two weeks, which means he’ll miss next week’s Copa del Rey Final against Barcelona and possibly the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
The news is a massive blow to Real Madrid. The club made an official statement today, which read “Medical tests performed on Cristiano Ronaldo have revealed an injury to the player’s left biceps femoris muscle. Pending a medical evaluation.”
It’s expected that the injury will leave Ronaldo out of action for the next 15 days.
