Eden Hazard has been named the recipient of the 2014/15 Player of the Year Award by the PFA (Professional Footballers’ Association).
Hazard has scored 18 goals for Chelsea so far this season and has been instrumental in helping the Blues win the League Cup as well as advance closer and closer to lifting the 2014/15 Premier League title.
The Belgian midfielder, who has been valued at £200 million by Jose Mourinho, was given the award on Sunday night in a ceremony at a London hotel just hours after helping Chelsea tie Arsenal 0-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
Meanwhile, Tottenham’s Harry Kane won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
