Bolton Wanderers Football Club has had a busy 24 hours. Yesterday they announced that they decided to ditch a payday loan company that was going to be featured as their new shirt sponsor, and instead replaced them with a different company. That same day, they unveiled their new club crest. And then today, they launched their new home kit for the 2013-14 season.
Who said life in the Championship was dull?!
The new Bolton Wanderers club crest is a vast improvement over the ribbon one (above left). Not only is the new club crest bolder, but the addition of the Lancashire red rose emblem and year that the club was founded is a classy touch.
On top of that, the club unveiled a top quality shirt design courtesy of adidas.
According to the club, “The kit features the club’s new crest on both the shirt and shorts, with navy and white hooped socks paying homage to a similar style worn during the 1950s, when the club twice reached the FA Cup final.”
