Arsenal faces Manchester United in FA Cup quarter-finals

The draw for the 2014/15 FA Cup quarter-finals has concluded, and here’s who will be matching up against each other in March for a chance to go to Wembley.

Liverpool vs Blackburn Rovers
Bradford City vs Reading
Preston or Manchester United vs Arsenal
Aston Villa vs West Bromwich Albion

The draw was conducted live on television by England manager Roy Hodgson and Brian Finney, the son of Preston North End legend Sir Tom Finney, ahead of the Lilywhites’ Fifth Round tie against Manchester United.

Now that Manchester United has defeated Preston today, it’ll set up a mouthwatering tie at Old Trafford against Arsenal, which will bring back a lot of memories of classic FA Cup encounters between the two sides.

In the west Midlands, they’ll be salivating at the prospect of watching the derby between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion, which should be an incredible match to watch.

Bradford against Reading ensures that there’ll be a Football League club in the semi-final of the FA Cup, but will it be Championship team Reading or League One side Bradford?

Last but not least, Liverpool must be fancying their chances against Blackburn at Anfield even despite the fact that Rovers have knocked Sunderland and Swansea out of the cup.

The matches will be played over the weekend of March 7-9.
