Anticipation Building For Official Release of USMNT World Cup Shirts [PHOTO]

The anticipation is building for the official unveiling of the US Men’s National Team home and away shirts for 2014 that will be worn in this summer’s World Cup.

An announcement is expected from Nike today with details on the shirts, where to pre-order them and whether or not the USMNT will wear the new home shirt or away on March 5 when the teams plays Ukraine in a friendly that has been rearranged in Cyprus.

Previously leaked photos of the USMNT 2014 home shirt have been revealed here and here and here, but it’s the red away shirt that has been kept under the wraps with no legitimate photos of the shirt leaked thus far. We’ll have to see if they unveil just the home shirt today, or the home and away.

As soon as we have the official details and photos of the new shirts, we’ll share them with you on World Soccer Talk.
