Two matches are scheduled today in the Premier League, both of which have implications on the top of the table.
In the early kick-off, Southampton hosts Tottenham Hotspur. Under manager Tim Sherwood, Tottenham will be hoping to bounce back after the disappointing defeat mid-week against West Ham United in the League Cup. Three points and a convincing performance will be what Spurs supporters are hoping for, but Saints fans will feel that their club can make another statement today with a strong performance.
In the other match, high-flying Everton take on a Swansea side who are suffering from injuries (Michu, Nathan Dyer and Michel Vorm are out). As a Swansea supporter, I don’t feel confident about my team’s chances for this match at all. My prediction: Swansea 0-3 Everton.
