The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) recently debuted a documentary about Wayne Rooney entitled ‘The Man Behind The Goals.’ Hosted by Gary Lineker, the 60-minute film took viewers inside Rooney’s life to learn more about where he grew up, how close he is to his family and what makes him tick.

Included in the documentary are several interviews with key people who have touched his life including Steven Gerrard, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bobby Charlton, David Moyes, Sven Goran-Eriksson and many more.

Whether you like Rooney or not, the documentary is a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at his career — from Everton to Manchester United to England.
