Blackburn defender Phil Jones is at Manchester United for a medical today and is poised to make a £16 million transfer from Lancashire to Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports and The Guardian.
Just like Jordan Henderson who signed for Liverpool today, the 19-year-old center-back is part of the under-21 England squad who will be playing in the European Championships this weekend.
Jones joined Blackburn’s youth academy in 2002, and made his senior debut in 2009 where he has made more than 34 appearances for Rovers.
Phil Jones is expected to sign a five-year deal at Manchester United.
