Manchester United have clinched a record £300million shirt deal with Nike that will keep the Red Devils wearing the swoosh icon for another five years. The deal will be a world record fee for a soccer shirt deal.
It’s more than triple the amount of money that United currently receive under their current deal with Nike, and it smashes the previous world record of £31million a year by adidas/Real Madrid.
United are expected to officially announce the deal as early as Friday.
