Jurado Joins Schalke Amidst Deadline Day Tranfer Flurry.

Schalke have added creative midfielder Jose Jurado to their ranks after signing Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar earlier in the day. Jurado will have cost Schalke another 13 million Euros, so Magath’s side are certainly splashing the cash to combat their very poor start to the Bundesliga season.

Jurado has been at Atletico Madrid for four seasons, but has always played backup to players like Reyes, Simao, and Sergio Aguero. Despite that, Jurado is a quality midfield playmaker. His passing ability and his vision on the pitch will allow strikers Huntelaar and Raul to flourish.
