Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of defensive midfielder Etienne Capoue for a transfer fee that’s reported to be £8.6million.
The 25-year-old Toulouse footballer paves the way for Scott Parker to exit the club, presumably to Queens Park Rangers
Capoue is a France international who has made 174 league appearances, scoring 13 times in Ligue 1 for Toulouse and was named in the league’s Team of the Year in 2012 alongside Hugo Lloris.
The defensive midfielder, who can also be employed at centre-half, has represented his country at Under-18, 19 and 21 level as well as earning seven full international caps, scoring once.
