The highest attendances for soccer matches in the US in 2015

In 2014, there were 35 games played in the US that were attended by at least 40,000 people – usually considered the cutoff for a standout soccer crowd. That’s an outstanding total, but in 2015 it was even great: 45 games had 40,000 or more people.

Unfortunately there was no single game that had over 100,000 people like 2014’s Real Madrid-Manchester United matchup in Ann Arbor, Mich. Here are the biggest soccer crowds of 2015:
