Sal Zizzo Returning to Major League Soccer

It’s been quite the journey for Sal Zizzo.

From the 2007 U-20 World Cup, where he showed enough promise to earn a contract with Hannover 96 to an injury-marred stay in Germany that saw him earn eight first-team appearances in three seasons.

And now, he’s coming to MLS.

He’s going to be put into a weighted lottery, with D.C. United and Kansas City having the best chance to get him.

He’s coming off an ACL injury, but at only 23 years old, he still has a chance to reach his potential.

What do you think? Excited to see Zizzo play in MLS? Hoping the magic lottery puts him in your town?
