Record 4.2 million tune in to watch NBC's Premier League opening weekend coverage

The viewing audience for the opening weekend of the Premier League on US television increased by 25% from the opening weekend last year, with a record 4.2 million tuning in to watch 6 games across the NBC Sports networks on Saturday and Sunday.

Chelsea vs. Swansea City, 1 million viewers (most-watched opening weekend game in US history)
Manchester United vs. Spurs, 626,000 viewers (most-watched early game on NBCSN)
Bournemouth vs. Aston Villa, 410,000 viewers
Everton vs. Watford, 277,000 viewers

Plus, soccer fans streamed more than 14.8 million minutes via NBC Sports Live Extra, which was the best ever for a Premier League weekend.
