Michael Jackson Statue to be Removed From Fulham's Craven Cottage

The Michael Jackson statue that stands at Fulham’s Craven Cottage stadium in west London is to be removed.

“The statue is not part of the Riverside development of the stadium and will be returned to the former chairman in due course,” said a Fulham spokesperson.

The statue was erected in 2011 by the wishes of former Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed. The Egyptian was best friends with Jackson, and Al Fayed insisted that the singer was a Fulham supporter.

The Michael Jackson statue is situated near the back of the Hammersmith Stand.

Al Fayed wants to take the statue to another one of his properties, according to The Independent newspaper.
