Americans Abroad, Part 3: Major League Soccer Talk Podcast

Now’s the time to talk about some of the bigger name U.S. players plying their trade overseas, names we didn’t get to on the first two shows of the week. Today, we look at Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Mexico, asking about the progress the likes of Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Charlie Davies, Oguchi Onyewu and Jose Francisco Torres are making at their respective clubs. Of note on this show, a discussion as to whether (or when) Major League Soccer should be looking to spend to bring the likes of Oguchi Onyewu back to the United States and Major League Soccer – players who are no longer ascending up the European club ranks; players that possibly could be had should MLS have the will to do so.
