Youngster Julian Green was a controversial inclusion in Jürgen Klinsmann United States World Cup Squad. The Bayern Munich prodigy is according to the Metro, subject of a potential transfer bid from Tottenham Hotspur.
The reported £5 million bid from Spurs owes itself according to the report to new Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino’s desire to bring in the pacey winger. Pochettino had much success with young players at Southampton and could repeat the feat with Green.
Despite being highly rated, Green is unlikely to break into the Bayern Munich squad anytime soon. The Metro often times is not the best source for transfer news, however Green does fit the profile of the types of young and athletic players that Pochettino nurtured so effectively at Southampton.
