The Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Córdoba will host the Final of the Copa Argentina Sancor Seguros between River Plate and Rosario Central Thursday night. Both teams will have to put aside their Primera woes as the evening brings two major prizes for the winner – a coveted trophy and a place in next year’s Copa Libertadores.
River Plate are coming off a tough Primera loss to bitter rivals Boca Juniors over the weekend while Rosario Central are struggling in the Primera where they have gone winless in their last 8. But both teams have shown class in their respective runs to the Copa Final. Rosario’s run includes an impressive win over Boca Juniors in the quarterfinals.
