Kuba Wins Polish Player Of The Year

Borussia Dortmund’s Jakub Blaszczykowski has won Polish Player of the Year after turning in some impressive performances at both club and international level. In the 09/10 season, Kuba, as he is known for short, scored four league goals and contributed a few assists. This season, he has nearly reached those same figures already and we’re only in December. While he isn’t the best finisher in the world by any stretch, his pace, his dribbling ability and his final ball make him a dangerous winger for any opposition to be playing against. Still, this isn’t the Ballon d’Or, and let’s not pretend Poland has a whole host of world class talent to choose from. Nevertheless, congrats Kuba!
