There are a number of soccer tickets on sale this summer for games in the United States. At last, European club teams have the chance to return to the United States for preseason friendlies.

Clubs such as Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus all have scheduled games across the U.S.

In total, there are 16 games involving European clubs. However, the fun does not stop there. Sides from Liga MX scheduled games in the United States during their offseason. This includes friendlies featuring two Mexican derbies. Chivas plays Atlas and Club América plays Pumas in Bridgeview, IL.

10. Charlotte FC vs Chelsea – Charlotte, NC – July 20 – 7 p.m.

Charlotte FC is the youngest team to currently play in Major League Soccer. Playing out of Bank of America Stadium, the club does have a strong contingent of fans. However, Chelsea is one of America’s most-followed clubs in the world.

This will be Charlotte FC’s first game against a side from outside the United States, and they do it against the two-time UEFA Champions League winners.

Christian Pulisic is sure to make this game even more interesting for the thousands of American supporters to pack into the stadium. For those at home, this is one of four games between MLS clubs and major European teams to happen on Wednesday, July 20.

9. MLS All-Stars vs Liga MX All-Stars – Saint Paul, MN – August 10 – 7:30 p.m.

Most of the games on this list do not mean anything. There are some rivalries and some games featuring talented sides. This game, between MLS and Liga MX, goes a long way for pride.

City won the two previous matchups between the two clubs back before 2010. Manchester City’s change since then is remarkable. Four Premier League titles in the last five years show the dominance of the Sky Blues in what is perhaps the toughest league in soccer. A rematch of the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final and 2017 quarterfinals. One of the top teams in Spain playing one of the top teams in Italy. The reputation of these two clubs is enough to make this a marquee matchup.

With Juventus going through some changes, it is a chance to see how the Old Lady shapes up before another Scudetto run. Barcelona is in a similar boat. A young core made up of Pedri, Gavi and Ansu Fati are all on display in Dallas’s Cotton Bowl Stadium.

5. Inter Miami vs Barcelona – Fort Lauderdale, FL – July 19 – 7:30 p.m.

Just before the slew of MLS games against European opposition is Inter Miami playing Barcelona to begin the Catalan club’s U.S. tour. David Beckham makes Inter Miami have a certain prestige among soccer fans, even for a club like Barcelona. Despite the former England international playing for Real Madrid, Barcelona still welcomes this summer friendly in Miami.

Of course, this is the first time these two clubs meet, with Inter Miami only starting less than four years ago.

4. Juventus vs Real Madrid – Los Angeles, CA – July 30 – TBD

Another rematch of a past Champions League Final involving Juventus and a team from Spain. Real Madrid, which won that 2017 Final and the most recent Final in 2022, returns to the United States in its usual glory. Another Champions League title paired nicely with a LaLiga crown.

Juventus has had its relative struggles in Serie A over the last couple of seasons. This game against Real Madrid is not an easy one for a preseason friendly. That being said, those challenging games can pay dividends in the actual season.

3. Chelsea vs Arsenal – Orlando, FL – July 23, TBD

Any time you have an opportunity to watch a London derby, you can rest assured it will be a dramatic game. This is still a friendly, yes. However, this edition of the Florida Cup features a pair of sides with a staunch disliking of one another.

The Blues and the Gunners had somewhat disappointing seasons a year ago. The defending Champions League winners did not build on that, finishing third in the Premier League and losing in the FA Cup and League Cup, both on penalties to Liverpool. Arsenal, as stated, missed out on Champions League qualification after a collapse over the last few games.

Expect some bad blood between these two in Orlando. Perhaps not as much as we may see in the Premier League, but still some toughness.

This game is just special because of the talent. Manchester City has a special new toy in Erling Haaland. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich looks set to lose its star striker, Robert Lewandowski. Despite that, the talent on display in this game is something that belongs in a Champions League Final, not necessarily a Saturday at Wisconsin.

Saying that, this is not just any place in Wisconsin. For the first time, the hallowed grounds of Lambeau Field host a soccer game. It is a fitting pair of clubs to play in that stadium, which is perhaps the most famous stadium in the United States.

1. El Clásico – Real Madrid vs Barcelona – Las Vegas, NV – July 23, 7 p.m.

Truly, this does not need any more build up. This is the second time Real Madrid and Barcelona will play in the United States. Moreover, it is the third time they will play outside of Spain. The first time that happened came back in 2017 in Miami.

Las Vegas hosted a number of notable international games last summer. The highlight of that was the Gold Cup Final between the USMNT and Mexico. As seen in that game, the venue is suitable for putting on a show.
