Premier League Finale Podcast And House Notes

soccerlens

A few important house notes before this long holiday weekend (Memorial Day in the United States, and a Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom):

  • The latest episode of the highly-recommended Soccerlens Podcast, hosted by Stephen Darwin, features an interview with yours truly about the final weekend of the Premier League, my predictions on who are going to get relegated, what team will give Man United a run for the money next season, what position Liverpool needs to fill to have a strong chance of winning the league next year, and much more. You can listen to the podcast via the web, on iTunes or at the foot of this post.
  • The EPL Talk blog is now available on Amazon for the Kindle book reader. It’s $1.99 per month. Kindle Blogs are auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle and updated throughout the day so you can stay current. It’s risk free—all Kindle Blog subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel at any time during the free trial period. If you enjoy your subscription, do nothing and it will automatically continue at the regular monthly price.
  • Don’t forget that the EPL Talk Premier Fantasy League and I Know The Score (IKTS) competitions end this Sunday. The winners will receive gifts from EPL Talk. Right now, the leader of the Premier Fantasy League is Martin Walsh with his Boca Seniors side. And the two leaders of the I Know The Score competition are RockfishDG (again!?!) and RafaSweeney. May the best men win.
  • Voting is still open in the EPL Awards. The competition has received a ton of publicity this week including mentions on The Spurs Show, TheGame Podcast, FoxSoccer.com, Setanta.com/us, The Fiver and many other podcasts and sites. If you haven’t voted yet, vote now at http://epltalk.com/awards The polls close on Sunday, May 31.
  • Don’t forget about the Premier League Finale Live Blog this Sunday at 10:45am ET/3:45pm BST. EPL Talk writer Paul Bestall will host the blog and will share the up-to-the-minute action from all of the matches that matter on the final day of the season. Join EPL Talk readers from around the world and post your comments to the live blog. It’s going to be a nailbiting time indeed for football fans.
